According to the last report from the elections in Isreal, which was announced this morning, the Kadima party, led by Tzipi Livni, won.

The Israeli election committee issued a statement stating that the Kadima party won the elections by obtaining 28 of the 120 parliament seats.

According to this statement, the Likud party, led by Benyamin Netanyahu, obtained 27 seats, the Yisrael Beiteinu party, led by Avigdor Leiberman, obtained 15 seats, the Labor party, led by Ehud Barak, obtained 13 seats, and the extremist Zionist party called Shas obtained 11 seats.
