I am a religious student studying in the Islamic version of the Vatican. This blog is dedicated to articles relating to Islam, especially Islamic politics throughout the Islamic and non-Islamic world. I pray that it is beneficial for all. Please do not be shy in giving your comments and suggestions.

This is a great blog, and I applaud your efforts to educate the public on Islamic politics. I’m a student in Florida in the U.S. and have a strong interest in the relationship between Islam and the politics of the Middle East and Islamic communities around the world. This blog is a great source for important and interesting stories that don’t make it to the front page of mainstream newspapers or websites. Good things will come to you for your efforts.

I would like you to remove your false comments about depleted uranium – just because something made the Daily Kos (and you ignored the extensive comments that followed Mark the Shark’s lifting of an article from Natural News which originally posted the article with a photo of a Vietnam War era A1E propeller driven Skyraider airplane and which does not acknowledge mail or ever delete its misinformation, which in this case appears to be plagiarized posting from Sherwood Ross, a politicized former reporter who know longer does his journalistic duty.
Write me and learn — I am just like you, someone who believes in truth – I have nothing against Islam – I do have a lot against people who misuse your Koran to crash airplanes into buildings or shout the praises of Allah while hacking off some innocent person’s head – I have a lot against the fundamentalist Christians who are equally intollerant as well.

Abunakhli,
Roger Helbig is paid by military industrial groups to react to articles denouncing the terrible consequences of the use of Depleted Uranium by the US military.
Every time I post an article or a report on the effects of DU on the health of the Iraqi people on my blog he automatically sends a comment.
It is a FACT that since the US dropped DU bombs on Iraq the Iraqi people are suffering and dying from DU related diseases.
It is a FACT that the Iraqi people will continue to suffer and die because of DU for many centuries because the soil and air of their country has been contaminated.
To those who deny that DU affects people’s health, I say: Go to Iraq and see for yourselves or ask the US soldiers who served in Iraq and whose health has been affected by DU.
Please read Dr Souad Al-Azzawi’s Report:

USING DEPLETED URANIUM WEAPONS IS A CRIME AGAINST HUMANITY.
