Ahmadinejad emphasizes the need of Islamic countries to be independent

The president of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the prince of Qatar discussed the important issues of the region.

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, the president of the Islamic Republic of Iran met with Shaykh Hamadi bin Khalifa ath-Thani, the prince of Qatar, in Tehran. He emphasized the need for Islamic countries to protect their honor and independence. He also stated that it is necessary that Islamic countries cooperate with each other to actualize their nations’ benefits.

The Iranian president clearly stated in regards to the international economical drought and the defeat of international armies that the west is trying to solve its problems by forming new systems and transferring them to other countries. Independent countries must create systems that are in their own benefit and prevent the moves of the western countries.

Qatar’s prince praised Iran for their progress in various fields and said that the Islamic world has strengths like Iran and that the progress that is made in this country is to the benefit of the Islamic world.

Qatar’s prince, in regards to the situation in Gaza, added that the Zionist regime, with the green light given by some countries, intended to occupy Gaza. But, the Doha conference and the support of the region prevented them from doing so.

Moshe Feiglin, the leader of the fanatic Jewish sect called Zo Artzeinu (this is our land/country) which is dependant on the Likud Party defended the speeches of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s president in regards to the internal destruction of Israel.

What is in my mind does not need to be repeated to anyone. But, I am not opposed to much of what Ahmadinejad stated in the United Nations. The media tries to conceal what he says and refrain from facing it, but put this first glance aside, and listen to his words with precision: “The Zionist regime is falling apart and there is no way to escape its destruction.”

This is the meat of what Ahmadinejad stated which reached our ears from the seat of the United Nations. He did not mean that Israel would be destroyed financially or militarily, rather wanted to state that the merits that the Zionist regime was founded upon are falling and that this fall will end up in the fall of the regime.

I have seen with my own eyes the families of Jewish inmates, in their tents close to Yeshiva Merkaz where they were on a food strike. I visited with them. They wanted to review the words of Ahmadinejad. Isreal’s Minister of Public Security, Avi Dichter, without shame and without knowing what was said, stated that he does not have a great desire to free the Jewish prisoners. Israel now does not care about the principle of trading Israeli prisoners for Arab terrorists. In Israel, where Dichter is the Minister of Public Security, the feeling of desire to free Israeli prisoners is not there, even if the Arabs would free them.

These prisoners, in liberal terms, have at least lost their rights. The Israeli Minister of Public Security wants to prove that food strikes will not change anything. In his opinion these prisoners are accused of breaking Israeli law; they did not defend its borders because instead of defending Israel they stood up against it.

This is how we see that the Israeli regime does not want the prisoners to be taken out of their chains, rather they want them to die in prison.

This is the ethical level of Israeli leaders who only speak of interests. Ethics have no importance with them. If they freed Gilad Shalit they would have done so with disgust because if they do not do it they would not remain safe from international pressure. Now they fear that the inhabitants of Gaza will be given merits similar to those given to Gilad Shalit under international pressure.

While thinking about this issue an ethical joint comes to mind – something that is hidden within Zionists. The leaders of the Israeli regime give so much importance to their interests that they forget the Jewish people. It is as if they consider the Jews to be temporary inhabitants of Israel. It must be said truthfully that they do not consider Arab fighters to be as much criminals as Jewish prisoners. It is here that the children and grandchildren of the Israeli Prime Minister and other Israeli leaders must listen to the speech of Ahmadinejad; the same person who invited us to return to our other promised land.

It seems as if a thought process from the heart of Israel is forming which is similar to being anti-Jew.

Minorities in the Israeli government are not in congruence with the Jews.

It is possible that Ahmadinejad’s words in this year will give us hope. The evil regime of Israel practically kicks us into a well that they created.

But, Ahmadinejad has still yet to realize some angels. He does not know that the Israeli regime is establishing the continuation of the Israeli society in some centers. It is true tat the Zionist regime is falling apart. But, there is no doubt that the Jews must save themselves from this fall.

Ahmadinejad – Larry King: Iran opens door to ‘friendly’ US relations

IR Iran President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad

IR Iran President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad

Iran’s president says he is interested in ‘friendly’ relation with Washington, regardless of who is in charge of the White House.

In an interview with CNN’s Larry King Live, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said he is willing to meet with both US presidential candidates, Senators Barack Obama and John McCain but had no preference between the two.

“We believe that these are issues relating to the domestic affairs of the United States. And decisions pertaining to that must be made by the American people,” he said.

When asked whether Obama’s proposal to meet would interest him, Ahmadinejad said he does not rely on the promises candidates make in the ‘campaign period’.

“(During this time,) anyone can say anything. So we disregard that. What matters is that once someone is in office, we have to watch and see if that person will bring about some changes in policy or continue the same old path,” he expounded.

Ahmadinejad’s speech to the UN

Ahmadinejad at the United Nations

Ahmadinejad at the United Nations

[The following is a copy of Iranian President Ahmadinejad’s speech to the United Nations General Assembly early Wednesday morning, as translated by the Presidency of the Islamic Republic of Iran News Service:]

Mr. President, Excellencies,

I am grateful to the Almighty for granting me another opportunity to be present in this world Assembly.

In the last three years, I have talked to you about great hopes in the bright future of human society, and some solutions for achieving sustainable peace and expanding love, compassion, and cooperation.

I have also talked about unjust systems governing the world; pressures exerted by some powers seeking to trample the rights of other nations, oppression imposed on the majority of the global community, especially on the people of Iraq, Palestine, Lebanon, Africa, Latin America, and Asia; about challenges we are faced with, such as efforts to shatter the sanctity of families, destroy cultures, humiliate lofty values, neglect commitments, expand the shadow of threats, as well as about the arms race and the unfairness and inability of the systems governing world affairs in reforming the status quo.

With the occurrence of various new developments, the debility of existing mechanisms has been revealed even more. However, at the same time, an encouraging trend, which has originated in the thoughts and beliefs of peoples, has blossomed and become stronger. Posed against the despairs caused by the new developments, this trend has ignited the ray of hope for a brilliant, desirable and beautiful future in the hearts of men.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Dear Colleagues,

Today I would like to talk to you about the main reasons behind the conditions ruling the world and the means to tackle them. Of course, you are already aware of what I am talking about, but I think it is necessary to remind ourselves.

It seems that the roots of problems lie in the way one views and perceives the world and humankind, as well as in the important issues of freedom, obeisance to God, and justice. The world, humankind, freedom and obeisance to God, and justice, have been of utmost importance to humans throughout history.

1. The World:

God Almighty purposefully created the world. This world is the bedrock for the evolution and growth of a creature called man, and the laws governing the world and all other creatures are at the service of man’s quest for loftiness. The world should provide the needed opportunities for the fulfillment of the purpose behind man’s creation. No phenomenon, creature, or indeed anything has been created in vain. Together they all pave the ground for the flourishing of mankind in a complex and purposeful system, and they are, each, one of the signs of God Almighty. All are His creations and He is the sole creator and ruler of the world. All existence including power, knowledge and wealth come from Him.

2. Humankind:

God created the world for humans and humans for Himself. He created humans from mud and in the soil, but He did not want them to remain in the soil and with animal instincts. He kindled the light of guidance in their souls and asked them to rise from the soil to the heavens and to Him with the help of wisdom, prophets and perfect men.

The world will ultimately disappear, but God has created man for eternity and has made them a manifestation of Himself. Creativity, mercifulness, kindness, knowledge, wisdom, zeal, concealment of sins, splendor, justice, bounteousness, generosity, greatness, love, glory, dignity, forgiveness, insight, kingship and all other goodness and beauty are attributes of God.

God has not created humans for aggression, bloodshed, rancor, selfishness and destruction. He made humans His vicegerents on earth and has asked them to, on the one hand, make earth prosper by using their God-given potentials and to prepare the ground for the growth of divine attributes in all humans, and to provide all with a life full of beauty, amity, freedom, justice and goodness; and on the other hand in pursuance of this path, to prepare for a prosperous, everlasting life endowed by God’s mercy.

God has obligated humans to live divinely and socially, for it is only through social life and interactions with others that divine attributes may emerge.

Ahmadinejad: Capitalism nearing collapse

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad says capitalist systems are on the verge of collapse and can no longer bring economic development.

Ahmadinejad

“There are some who believe we can improve the economic situation with the formulas that are prescribed by the West; they must know that capitalist systems are falling apart,” said Ahmadinejad, who was addressing clerics in Iran’s western city of Hamadan on Thursday.

“The fundamental philosophy of Iran’s Islamic Revolution was that it should not be based on Western systems,” he continued.

According to Ahmadinejad, the problems Iran now deals with are the direct result of disregard for the ideals of the 1979 revolution.

Ahmadinejad added that his government intends to pursue policies that will bring justice, maintaining that if there is to be development in the country, poor areas must come first.

Ahmadinejad calls Zionist regime a ‘stinking corpse’

President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad here on Thursday labeled the Zionist regime as a “stinking corpse” and said those who think they can revive the corpse of this fabricated and usurper regime are in mistaken.

ahmadinejad

Lambasting the 60th anniversary of establishment of the Zionist regime, he said those who attend such a shameful ceremony should bear in their mind that their names will be listed as Zionist criminals.

Addressing Majlis representatives, he said the philosophy of existence of the Zionist regime is now under question and the usurper and fabricated regime is moving towards annihilation. The Zionist regime is a puppet for bullying powers, he said adding that the global arrogance established the Zionist regime 60 years ago in Palestine to continue its historical straggles with the Muslim
world but after the Lebanese nation slapped it in the face, they are like dead rats.

“If any regional countries assist the Zionist regime, they will burn in fire arising from nations’ hatred,” said the president.

“If some think that they can make any change in the global calculations, they are in mistaken because nations around the world will bury them ,” concluded President Ahmadinejad.

The loathsome smearing of Israel’s critics

And they say that free speech exists in the West! That is a crock. The only thing that one is free to say are opinions in line with the government – anything else will be punishable. Here is an article showing how people who criticize the Israeli regime are smeared.

johann hari

In the US and Britain, there is a campaign to smear anybody who tries to describe the plight of the Palestinian people. It is an attempt to intimidate and silence – and to a large degree, it works. There is
nobody these self-appointed spokesmen for Israel will not attack as anti-Jewish: liberal Jews, rabbis, even Holocaust survivors.

My own case isn’t especially important, but it illustrates how the wider process of intimidation works. I have worked undercover at both the Finsbury Park mosque and among neo-Nazi Holocaust deniers to expose the Jew-hatred there; when I went on the Islam Channel to challenge the anti-Semitism of Islamists, I received a rash of death threats calling me “a Jew-lover”, “a Zionist-homo pig” and more.

Ah, but wait. I have also reported from Gaza and the West Bank. Last week, I wrote an article that described how untreated sewage was being pumped from illegal Israeli settlements on to Palestinian land, contaminating their reservoirs. This isn’t controversial. It has been documented by Friends of the Earth, and I have seen it with my own eyes.

The response? There was little attempt to dispute the facts I offered. Instead, some of the most high profile “pro-Israel” writers and media monitoring groups – including Honest Reporting and Camera – said I an anti-Jewish bigot akin to Joseph Goebbels and Mahmoud Ahmadinejadh, while Melanie Phillips even linked the stabbing of two Jewish people in North London to articles like mine. Vast numbers of e-mails came flooding in calling for me to be sacked.

Any attempt to describe accurately the situation for Palestinians is met like this. If you recount the pumping of sewage onto Palestinian land, “Honest Reporting” claims you are reviving the anti-Semitic myth of Jews “poisoning the wells.” If you interview a woman whose baby died in 2002 because she was detained – in labour – by Israeli soldiers at a checkpoint within the West Bank, “Honest Reporting” will say you didn’t explain “the real cause”: the election of Hamas in, um, 2006. And on, and on.
